Practical Pistol at the Newport Rifle Club is fun and exciting event that is held every month from April through December.
Practical Pistol is the only time you will be able to draw from a holster and engage targets at the Newport Rifle Club. You do not have to be qualified for outdoor pistol to participate.
Practical Pistol is an outdoor and all-weather event so dress appropriately.
Typically there are 3 stages of fire.
Targets used are USPSA cardboard silhouettes, steel and clay pigeons.
Props and stage themes are often employed to increase the difficulty and fun factor.
