NRC Junior Rifle Team
The Newport Rifle Club Junior Team ranks among the most successful in the country. NRC is committed to developing the next generation of safe, skilled, and competitive shooters.
The Junior Rifle Team conducts regular smallbore training on the downstairs range and additional sessions in the upstairs range. Contact Fred Biastre for information on joining the team.

Beginning Youth .22 Rifle
Ages: 8–16
Requirement: Must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian
Each session begins with a range safety brief. First-time shooters view a firearms orientation video before entering the range. All shooting is done in the prone position using supported .22 target rifles. Each one or two shooters is supervised by a dedicated coach.
