NRA Basic Pistol Classes – Newport Rifle Club

 *If your are interested in obtaining your MASSACHUSETTS LTC you can use this class as part of your application.*

 *This class is also a great foundation of information to prepare you for your RI “Blue Card” test to purchase a pistol.*

We begin with classroom instruction where we cover safe handling of firearms, pistol and ammunition knowledge, fundamentals of pistol shooting and safe storage and maintenance/cleaning of your firearms.  Then we go into the range where students can fire a variety of models and calibers of firearms with one-on-one instruction.  We begin with .22 caliber – easy to shoot especially for new or novice shooters.  Students are then given the opportunity to try many types of higher caliber (center-fire) pistols (NRC is unique in making this avialable to our students.  Most Basic Pistol classes only make available .22 caliber pistols.)  We hold classes to  a maximum of 12 students – so sign up early to secure your spot!!

This Basic Pistol Class is very informative and is taught by very skilled instructors.  The cost is $125 which includes the NRA materials, use of our firearms, ammo, breakfast and delicious catered lunch.  If you have eye and ear protection please bring with you to the class.
